Potential Health Effects
Inhalation Irritating to respiratory system. Breathing high concentrations of dust may lead to acute poisoning. Severe exposures results in respiratory failure and death.
Skin Moisture and perspiration will accelerate tissue destruction. Prolonged skin contact may cause a severe effect, progressing to a delayed burn.
Eyes May cause eye irritation. May cause destruction of eye tissue.
Ingestion More severe exposures result in muscular weakness, tremors, convulsions, collapse, dyspnea, cardiac failure, and death.

4.) FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Take to hospital.
Skin Contact
Wash skin thoroughly with mild soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before re-using. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.
Eye Contact
In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 20-30 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Ingestion Contact
Give water to drink. Induce vomiting. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and show this container or label.
Note to Physicians: SEIZURE CONTROL IS MANDATORY PRIOR TO GASTRIC LAVAGE. INJECT 10% CALCIUM GLUCONATE AT 4 TO 6 HOUR INTERVALS.

5.) FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media
Small: Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray or foam. Large: Water spray, fog or alcohol foam.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures
Non-flammable. Negligible fire hazard when exposed to heat or flame. Move containers from fire area if it can be done without risk. Do not scatter material. Use water spray to reduce vapors.
Fire and Explosion Hazzards
none reported
Hazardous Combustion Products
Thermal decomposition may release Fluoride and sodium oxides
Protective Measure in Fire
Avoid contact; toxic waste. Fight fire from safe distance. Prevent runoff from entering natural waterways. Stay upwind and restrict access to area.

6.) ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal Precaution in Spill
DO NOT TOUCH MATERIAL. Wear personal protective equipment as outlined in Section 8.
Environment
Dike larger spills for later disposal. Restrict access to spill area.
Spill Clean Up
Damp mop any residue

7.) HANDLING AND STORAGE

Wash clothing before re-using. Packages, even those that have been emptied, will retain product residue. Always obey safety warnings and handle empty packages as if they were full.

8.) EXPOSURE CONTORLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION

Protective Equipment
Use adequate ventilation to meet exposure limits. Where exposure limits may be exceeded use OSHA approved dust mask.
Process Conditions
Exposure Limits: 2.5 mg/m3 OSHA TLV- TWA, 2.5 mg/m3 ACGIH TWA, 2.5mg/m3 NIOSH, TLV-PEL 2.5 mg/m3
Respirators
Approved dust mask should be used if dust are generated when handling this material.
Protective Gloves
Use rubber gloves.
Eye Protection
Safety glasses. Chemical goggles or face shield.
Other Protection
